Position:

Sygma | Engineering Services is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Electrical / Mechanical QA/QC Punchlist Coordinator to join its team for a long-term mission in Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing our customer on site, attending the relevant electrical inspections, managing the quality control process and reporting on schedule whilst also managing customer’s electrical sub-contractor at site. There is a specific focus on the mechanical and electrical installation works within the tower build so the service requires QA/QC experience.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely and actively with subcontractor to coordinate outstanding electrical & mechanical punch works
• Performs routine data analysis, generate standard reports representing punch list progress, current status and deficits
• Track, support and manage the closure of punches in a timely manner
• Create comprehensive handover punchlist with all necessary information to enable a smooth transition to the UK pre-assembly Hub
• Transfer punchlist information into company software system (Servicemax)
• Maintains confidentiality of all sensitive information
• Monitor and expedite supplier deviation requests to closure
• Monitor and expedite engineering change orders to closure
• Ensuring compliance with quality requirements throughout inspections, and quality walk-downs. Participate in and contribute to improvement initiatives and Lessons Learned on internal quality-related activities
• Plan and conduct inspections. Ensure coordination in collaboration with the construction team to satisfy requirements
• Record, analyse, identify solutions, and verify implementation of non-conformities (NCRs) arising from these inspections
• Review and ensure quality documents are accurately recorded
• Promote positive Quality culture on site across all the operational disciplines
• Ensure material preservation is being actively managed and documented

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Electrical / Mechanical QA/QC Punchlist Coordinator, or similar role
• Knowledge of quality standards and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Fluent in English and Spanish
