Technical Project Manager (Plant Engineer) - Heideheim - Germany


Professional experience in technical project management (preferably in plant construction)

Description of activities:

  • You lead engineering teams within the scope of extensive, complex plant projects
  • You control the projects assigned to you on the basis of schedules and flowcharts, which you have helped to create
  • In addition, you check specifications and requirements for individual systems and power plant components and ensure the physical and functional integration of power plant components
  • Physical and functional integration of individual power plant systems
  • You define operational specifications (e.g. protection concepts, switching sequence plans for power plant operational transitions and operational areas) and are responsible for document management within a project
  • The assessment of temporal, economic and technical risks is also part of your tasks
  • As the contact person (m/f/d) for all technical topics in the respective plant project, you will also ensure the coordination of the interfaces to all trades (especially construction) or within a consortium
  • You have successfully completed your studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering or a comparable field of study
  • You already have several years of experience in the design or commissioning of hydropower plant components
  • Professional experience in technical project management (preferably in plant construction) is an advantage
  • You have CAD skills and knowledge in the use of SAP and MS Office
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 25 %)
  • Fluent in French and English is a must. German is beneficial
