Main planner / Project planner (m|f|d) – Job offer

Your tasks :

  • Develop and maintain the project schedule, integrating data from all functions, units and third parties contributing to the project
  • Serve as a key member of the project team, providing schedule status updates to the project manager and other project members (project lead engineer, senior engineer, procurement manager and site manager)
  • Communicate schedule progress to project manager, functional manager, suppliers and third parties
  • Conduct a schedule analysis to identify project risks and opportunities, and work with the project team to implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Provide reports on future prospects, backlogs and delays with priorities to clearly communicate potential and actual risks and define project priorities
  • Ensure that contractually required reports are prepared and communicate directly with customers on programming issues
  • Prepare critical path analyses and work with multiple critical and near-critical paths
  • Develop what-if scenarios to optimize execution and work with project teams to assess feasibility
  • Align with the cost control function to ensure clear alignment between cost and schedule for accurate project execution
  • Organize and lead timely planning reviews with the project team to address scheduling issues and define/validate mitigation plans
  • Prepare backlog analyses to support the creation of EOT requests

Your profile :

  • Degree in engineering or comparable field, with several years’ professional experience in planning and/or control
  • At least 7 years’ experience in project planning as part of a project team
  • Mastery of the application of planning control principles (WBS, critical path, progress and OTD)
  • Experience of planning tools such as MS Project and/or Primavera, including interfaces with cost control and workload management
  • A proactive attitude to communication and problem-solving, strong team spirit, critical analysis of available data, rigor and transparency, and the ability to contribute to decision-making processes
