We are looking for an experimented professional for a job of Field Service Project Manager / Field Service Engineer (m|f|d).

Field Service Project Manager / Field Service Engineer (m|f|d) – Job offer

Your tasks :

• Responsible for ensuring installation packages of worldwide installation projects are in line with requirements and quality standards
• Control calculations and assumptions from bid and ensure realistic field service practices
• Adjust FMEA for the specific project and participate in design reviews
• Provide feedback to the dispatch department on any disruptions that may occur
• Assist with all technical and organizational site issues
• Improve equipment designs and mitigate any risks that may arise during installation and commissioning

Your profile :

• Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable. Several years of experience in the assembly, assembly supervision and/or commissioning of power plant components, ideally in the field of hydropower, are a must
• Experience in quality and risk management as well as in dealing with assembly personnel and assembly equipment is a plus
• An open-minded nature and a confident manner in dealing with customers, suppliers and other project participants as well as a high sense of responsibility
• Very good English is required for this position. Further foreign language knowledge such as German, Portuguese and/or Spanish are an advantage
• Good MS-Office skills are a must
• Willingness to travel worldwide on business (approx. 20 – 30 %) and short construction site assignments
